SCAPA CME Conference Blood Drive
The South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (SCAPA) is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive during the upcoming SCAPA CME Conference on Thursday, October 9, from 10 AM – 3 PM. This meaningful event offers attendees an opportunity to make a direct, lifesaving impact while connecting with colleagues and peers.
As healthcare professionals, SCAPA members understand better than anyone how critical a strong blood supply is to patient care. Every unit collected can help save up to three lives, touching not only the patients who receive the donations but also their families, friends, and communities. From trauma victims to cancer patients to mothers giving birth, every donation touches countless lives, creating a ripple effect that reaches well beyond the patient’s bedside.
The American Red Cross has been a cornerstone of humanitarian efforts for more than 130 years and continues to lead the way in ensuring hospitals and patients have access to the blood products they need. By joining this effort, SCAPA attendees can extend their dedication to patient care beyond their daily practice and make a difference that reaches far beyond the conference.
